Dual arm Mount'n Mover on a Stingray
Remove bolts holding tie-down
Sandwich the Adapter Plate 4 between the Tie-down and frame, orienting the threaded holes to the side. Use longer bolts to reattach to compensate for added thickness of plate.
Attach the LAE using these holes
Attach Angle Adjustment plate to the LAE if necessary
Attach the Wheelchair Bracket using the Angle Adjustment plate if necessary for a vertical post.
Angle Adjustment Plate straightens out the post.

Offset options

Offsets attach to the wheelchair attachment hardware, and are used to:

  • Get around obstacles such as trays, brakes, footrests and armrests
  • Position the Wheelchair Bracket so the post is in the optimal position (post can be inserted and removed, brakes are unobstructed, footrests removed, accommodate the tray, etc)
  • Adjust the angle of the hardware and/or bracket to make sure the post is vertical

These plates can all be used to offset. To figure out which offset plate will work for you, see our Offset Guide.

How to mount:

Sandwich an Adapter Plate 4 between the Tie-down and the frame. The tie down bolt is 8mm x 20mm with a 1.25 pitch.  You will need a 8mm x 25mm length bolt to accomodate the 1/4" think adapter plate.   Attach an L-Angle Extension plate so the other leg of the L goes upwards. Attach a Wheelchair bracket so the post does not interfere with the Tie-down hardware. Use longer bolts (8mm x 26mm)when sandwiching the Adapter Plate with the Tie-down.
